Research and work areas

Research in instrumental and vocal pedagogy is very important to me. I really appreciate the exchange with (inter)nationally based colleagues and at the same time am involved in different working groups, like the recent “design based research” working group and the “Research Association for Scientific Music Education”. Finally, there is a special focus on promoting young academics.

  • Videotaped sequences of instrumental lessons as reflection- and learning-tool

  • Musician health and wellbeing

  • Error management and dealing with errors during practicing, music making and teaching
